Christine Rankine joined the Sterling team in April 2021 as Manager, Personal Financial Planning. She quickly adopted the high level of service that Sterling is known for and was promoted to the position of AVP Personal Financial Planning in April 2024.

Michelle joined our sales and marketing team in October 2020 as the AVP Marketing & Communications. She brings with her over 25 years of experience in marketing and sales of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods); business development, strategic planning, and customer engagement. Michelle works with the sales team to build client engagement activities and investment strategies through marketing analytics and communication.

Charles is a founding director of Sterling Asset Management Limited, and a member of the Jamaica Securities Dealers Association (JSDA). Throughout his career, Charles has kept a careful watch on the range of challenges and opportunities facing private sector businesses in Jamaica and internationally. He has honed his knowledge of the global investment landscape and acquired invaluable expertise in assessing investment instruments and the conditions that might impact their performance.

Charles is a past Executive Director of The Private Sector Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) where he was responsible for managing the investments and income of the organization over a ten-year period. He became one of the PSOJ’s principal spokespersons on macro-economic policy and on social issues of national concern.
Eugene became a member of the Sterling Team on January 4, 2011 with over 16 years of experience in the areas of Banking and Finance. Eugene helps to develop and execute investment strategies that maximize risk adjusted returns. He runs Sterling’s Cambio and helps clients optimally manage their foreign exchange exposures.

Eugene honed his skills over a ten year stint at Citibank. He has held various positions including: Managing Director; Head of Securities Trading; Manager; and Assistant Manager at Citifinance Ltd.
Judith helps to ensure that Sterling’s operations run efficiently and smoothly. She is also actively involved in the strategic planning for the company. Her efforts facilitate the delivery of the excellent customer service and attention that Sterling has become known for. Her keen attention to detail, meticulous methodology and seasoned experience have helped her succeed in many capacities. Throughout her career, Judy has worked on software implementations, and designed and maintained optimal operational procedures and policies.

Judith joined Sterling in 2001 at inception and is one of the longest serving team members. Judith possesses more than 38 years experience in the financial industry and previously worked at Manufacturers Sigma Merchant Bank and Eagle Unit Trust.
Wayne joined Sterling Asset Management in June 2010 with extensive experience in Auditing, Accounting and Management Consultancy. He has a solid background in planning, analysis and reporting techniques, and is able to identify process weaknesses and to make sound recommendations for improvements.

Prior to joining Sterling, Wayne was a Contracted Management Consultant for a period spanning over 10 years. He conducted management consultancy services for large companies in both the English and French speaking Caribbean territories. In this role, he provided advice to directors and management executives on accounting and financial issues.
Marva joined SAM in April 2011 with over 25 years experience in the fields of Accounting and Auditing. She is responsible for the financial management, compliance and audit functions at Sterling. In this capacity, Marva has helped Sterling remain ahead of all new legislation and in full compliance of key regulatory and statutory requirements. Marva also plays an active role in strategic planning and in the reinforcement of the company’s core values and culture.

Toni-Ann adds over 17 years of experience in Finance and Relationship Management to the Sterling Team. She joined the company in 2015 as AVP Personal Financial Planning to manage and service individual and corporate client accounts and expand the company’s client base, but now leads the sales and marketing team. She is responsible for strengthening client relationships, ensuring a high standard of service delivery, growing assets under management, and building the brand in line with the Company's values and benefits.

Toni-Ann worked at Citibank for 8 ½ years in a variety of roles including FX trading, Securities trading and Money Market trading. She also worked at Jamaica Public Service Company for 3 ½ years, managing and developing relationships with a portfolio consisting of the utility’s largest corporate clients.
Max, a former Territory Senior Partner of Price Waterhouse Coopers, has over thirty (30) years’ experience in the auditing of Jamaica’s largest banking and insurance corporations. As engagement partner, Max was responsible for the overall planning and execution of audit strategies and had the ultimate decision-making responsibility on all audit matters.
As such, Max is intimately familiar with the operations, financial systems, regulatory environment and reporting requirements of the local financial sector.
Robert began his professional career as a Risk Manager at Bank of America in Florida, USA specializing in commercial lending and honing his acute risk management skills. After receiving his MBA, he returned to Jamaica to assume a position in Risk Management at Citibank. During his 11 years with Citibank, Robert quickly ascended to the position of Resident Vice President, Financial Institutions of the Public Sector Unit, where he helped to structure credit and capital market transactions and also managed the Bank’s relationships with the Government of Jamaica and Financial Institutions.
During this time, Robert also received a Bachelor of Laws from the University of London, and a certificate in Legal Education from Norman Manley Law School. Robert left the banking field and launched a full-time law practice specializing in Real Estate and Commercial law.
As VP Trading & Investment at Sterling Asset Management, Marian helps to design, execute and monitor the fixed income and equity investment strategies. Together with Eugene, she helps to conduct the company’s research function. Their original analysis helps to keep clients informed about major market events and enables the sales team to design more optimal investment portfolios for clients.

Marian started her career as a Credit Analyst in Investment Banking at First Citizens Bank, Trinidad where she structured loans for and analyzed the financial and strategic positions of some of the region’s largest corporations. Since joining Sterling in 2010, she has rotated through many departments and is integral to the development and execution of the company’s strategic plan.
