Sterling Asset Management Tees Off for 15th Anniversary

Sterling Asset Management, will on Saturday wrap up its 15th anniversary celebrations with a premier Invitational Golf Tournament at the Caymanas Golf & Country Club in St. Andrew. President and CEO Charles Ross says the golf tournament is one of the ways to show appreciation to its clients who have supported them over the past fifteen years.

“We are very grateful for the support we have received over the past 15 years and we want to end the celebrations on a high with the tournament. Sterling Asset Management has had a good 15 years, largely due to our clients and we want to ensure that they feel recognized,” Ross said.

Following on the tradition of its 10th anniversary celebration, all proceeds from the event will go to the Maxfield Children’s Home in Kingston and the Clifton Boys Home in Westmoreland. “While this is an event for our guests to relax and celebrate with us, we always encourage charity and so we will be selling ‘mulligans’ to our golfers and donating all the proceeds from that to the homes,” Ross said. These ‘mulligans’ will offer golfers a chance to do-over a shot without it counting on the scorecard. Each ‘mulligan’ will be sold for $2,000.

The tournament, will tee off at 8:30 am shot- gun start and will be competed on the stableford scoring system. Over 70 golfers will be competing for various prizes courtesy of Sterling Asset Management and its co-sponsor and International Broker, Raymond James and Associates. Play will be followed immediately with a presentation ceremony which includes lunch and live entertainment.

The company’s 10th anniversary tournament saw a donation being made to the Calabar Old Boy’s Association, and Ross said they are hoping to raise a substantial amount for the organisations who will be benefiting this year.
